LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A 45-year-old man was arrested in Crawford County for dealing methamphetamine, according to Indiana State Police.

According to ISP, a trooper was patrolling State Road 145 near Eckerty when she stopped a Dodge Durango for a headlight violation at 9:03 p.m. on Friday.

Garland Miller, of Branchville, identified himself. Police said they recognized indicators of criminal activity and requested K-9 assistance.

According to police, during an open-air sniff of the vehicle, the police dog gave positive indications of the presence of narcotics. Officers then conducted a search.

Police said they found two bags containing around 19 grams of suspected methamphetamine and another bag of suspected marijuana. 

Miller was charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, dealing marijuana and possession of marijuana, among other charges. 

He was taken to Crawford County Jail.
