Southern Indiana man charged with possessing child sex abuse material

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A southern Indiana man was arrested Thursday and charged with possessing child sex abuse material.

Indiana State Police said in a news release Friday that its Internet Crimes Against Children unit began an investigation last month after receiving a tip of a person suspected of possessing the material. They eventually identified the suspect as 40-year-old Adam Metzger, of Sellersburg.

On Thursday, detectives executed search warrants at Metzger's home and arrested him. He's charged with two counts of felony possession of child sex abuse material.

Metzger is being held at the Clark County Jail.
