LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police said a woman was shot multiple times after being caught in crossfire Sunday night.
In a news release, Louisville Metro Police said officers were called just before 8:30 p.m. to Glengarry Drive, which is off National Turnpike near Fairdale.
When officers arrived, they found an adult woman suffering multiple gunshots to her legs. She was taken to UofL Health Hospital in downtown Louisville with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
LMPD said its preliminary investigation determined that the woman was hit by bullets from two cars were "shooting at each other." Police said she was not the intended target.
