LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Tornado warnings were issued across the WDRB viewing area Sunday evening including Jefferson, Bullitt, Hardin and Nelson and Shelby counties.Ā
The National Weather Service in Louisville will have to survey damage on Monday to confirm any possible tornado touchdowns.Ā
Late Sunday evening, there were reports of downed power lines in roadways and fallen trees throughout Louisville and Jefferson County. A caller to the newsroom who lives in the Treasure Island subdivision near Okolona said a tree fell on his garage and crushed his car.

As of 6 a.m. the LG&E Storm Outage map showed more than 3,700 customers were without power in Jefferson County, and in Bullitt County, around 120 are without power. To check the LG&E and KU map, click here.Ā
Todd Blackburn from the Meade County RECC tells WDRB, "We currently have 5,600 out across our six-county service area of Meade, Breckinridge, Grayson, Ohio, Hancock and Hardin. We are unsure of the level of damages, we will have crews work towards restoration as soon as it is safe to do so." To check the Meade County RECC outage map, click here.
Another caller said a barn was destroyed in Shelbyville and trees are down.
