LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Louisville Metro Police said a woman died after a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning near the Park Hill neighborhood.
LMPD spokesperson Christopher Baker said officers responded to the report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle just before 3:45 a.m. Friday on West Oak Street, near 11th Street.
Police said the woman was hit by an unknown vehicle, which drove off in an unknown direction.
Baker said first responders rendered aid to the woman at the scene before she was transported to UofL Hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died there.
