LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The man accused in what police are calling a "road rage murder" was back in court Wednesday, with his attorneys still arguing over his bond.
Donald Hayes is accused of fatally shooting Danny Wilson in a road rage incident several weeks ago. His bond was originally set at $10,000 and then later raised to $50,000. His attorneys are trying to get his bond moved back down.
The judge didn't make a decision today, but promised to make one soon.
"Judge Haner's ruling has taken Mr. Hayes's liberty away," said Hayes' attorney. "By ignoring the rules, it is 100 percent illegal and unlawful and Mr. Hayes is entitled to the specific relief that we're requesting."
