LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Formerly known as The Summit Shopping Center, a popular Louisville shopping mall will now be setting the pace as Paddock Shops.
David Harvey, senior vice president of M&J Wilkow, said the winning name received almost 30 percent of the votes.
M&J Wilkow purchased the shopping center about three months ago, but had to change the name because the company that sold the center to them did not own the rights.
They also have a new motto: "setting the pace."
The Paddock Shops' owners say shoppers can expect even more tenants to join the current ones in the coming year.
