LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Charlestown High School in Indiana has a new principal.

Greater Clark County Schools announced on Tuesday they had chosen Mr. William Eihusen as the high school's new principal.

"We are beyond thrilled to welcome Mr. Eihusen to Charlestown High School," Mark Laughner, GCCS superintendent, said in a news release. "His dedication to educational excellence, proven leadership skills, and passion for creating a positive learning environment perfectly align with the values and goals of our school community. We are confident that Mr. Eihusen will continue to elevate Charlestown High School as a beacon of academic achievement and personal growth."

Eihusen worked previously at Jeffersonville High School, and implemented programs that engaged students, parents and faculty.
