LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) — A woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition Friday evening after a rollover crash on Interstate 71 North in Louisville.

Louisville Metro Police said it responded to the single-vehicle crash around 5:51 p.m. near Frankfort Avenue.

Police said the woman was driving north on I-71 when she lost control of the car for "an unknown reason." The car then flipped over the guardrail and the woman was ejected from the vehicle.

The woman was taken to UofL Hospital in critical condition. No one else was in the car.
