LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Holy Cross High School in Louisville is opening a new early childhood center.
The old Bishop David apartments on Dixie Highway are being renovated to accommodate the new Holy Cross Early Childhood Center. The private school said its center will provide a nurturing, faith-based environment for children between the ages of six weeks and three years old.
The program will foster brain development and early learning, enhance vocabulary development and language skills, and encourage parent involvement.
It will also emphasize a play-based curriculum, proper nutrition, music, outdoor exploration and nature-based learning. The center is expected to open in August.
There will be an open house on April 15 from 4-7 p.m.
