LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- There will be increased police presence at Spencer County Schools Tuesday after an online threat.

Spencer County Schools said in a Facebook post that at 3:51 p.m. Monday administration was made aware of a potential threat.

According to the Spencer County Sheriff's Office, the threat was made over a heated exchange on social media regarding the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Police shared the screenshot of the threat made on social media.

The Spencer County Sheriff's Office said they will have an increased presence at the schools Tuesday morning out of caution.
