LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- If you're interested in helping drive a bus this upcoming school year, Jefferson County Public Schools would like to hear from you.
A hiring blitz was held Saturday at the Hilton Garden Inn near the Louisville airport.
Those in attendance filled out applications and some were even interviewed on the spot and performed a physical which is required for the position.
It was a one-stop shop to get more drivers on board quicker.
"If they want to get a heads up or an advancement on the process they can come by our welcome center, we will help them through the paperwork portion," Aimee Green-Web, with JCPS human resources, said. "They can complete the application online or come into the welcome center and complete the application."
If you missed Saturday, JCPS will be holding another blitz on June 26 at the Norton Sports and Learning Center.
