LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Metro Police Department is looking for more traffic guards to help during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal at Jefferson County Public Schools.
Traffic guards help escort children safely across streets and highways before and after school as well as help direct traffic flow.
Pay for traffic guards starts at $17 an hour for part-time and seasonal work, with only 20 hours per week for nine months per year.
