LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The National Weather Service confirmed two tornadoes touched down in Breckinridge County, Kentucky, Sunday night.
An EF0 tornado with 85 mph winds hit near Mystic, Kentucky, and an EF1 with 100 mph winds hit near Clifton Mills, Kentucky, the NWS said Monday.
That brings the total number of tornadoes confirmed Sunday night to three. The NWS confirmed earlier Monday that an EF1 tornado with 100 mph winds touched down in central Clark County, Indiana.Â
Late Sunday night, a tornado warning was issued near the area of Otisco, Indiana, which is north of Charlestown along State Road 3. On Monday morning, downed trees and a destroyed shed were left in the wake on properties on Salem Drive near Otisco.
The storms were widespread across the area Sunday night. In Newburgh, Indiana, near Evansville, the storm left damage in its wake in what Indiana State Police called a "major tornado incident."Â Â
