LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A power outage in Clark County, Ind., early Wednesday affected more than 8,500 customers.
It happened around 6:40 a.m. The outage was caused by "falling trees or limbs damaging our equipment," according to Duke Energy's website. Power was restored for all but a few customers by 11 a.m.
The outage affected several neighborhoods, including Oak Park, Riverside and the Fields of Lancassange. Power was also out along parts of Utica Pike, E. Market Street, E. 10th Street, E. 8th Street, Middle Road and Allison Lane, according to the power outage map on Duke's website.
