LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville police arrested a man in relation to a shooting in the Russell neighborhood in October.
Jarrett Dennis, 36, is being charged with second-degree assault after he allegedly shot another man in the leg on West Chestnut Street, the citation says.
LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders said officers were called to the 2600 block of West Chestnut Street at around 9:45 p.m. on a shooting report on Oct. 21.
When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right thigh.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dennis is expected to appear in court on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
