LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was hospitalized after being shot in Louisville's Russell neighborhood Tuesday night.
LMPD spokesman Matthew Sanders said officers were called to the 2500 block of West Chestnut Street at around 9:45 p.m. on a shooting report.
When they arrived, they found a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his right thigh.
He was taken to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive.
LMPD's Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating.
