LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — It was all about fun in the mud Saturday in Buckner during the Oldham County YMCA’s Family Mud Run.
Groups of 25 runners at a time made their way through a 2-mile muddy course full of slippery obstacles, mud pits and construction tubes.
"We encourage the little kids to stay with their parents,” said Oldham County YMCA Director Josh Ransdell. "If the kids are 8 to 10 or a little older, they smoke their parents through this course right here. They are very agile, they can get through it very quickly with the obstacles."
Every participant received a T-shirt and medal after completing the course.
