LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A firefighter was mildly injured while helping put out a fire in an east Louisville restaurant early Saturday morning.
Anchorage Middletown Fire & EMS responded just after 4 a.m. to Tacos D Amor off Springhurst Boulevard. When firefighters arrived, they found flames shooting through the roof in the front of the building. No one was inside at the time, but the building sustained "extensive fire and smoke damage."
Spokesperson Salvador Melendez said one firefighter suffered a minor burn the hand and was treated and released by medical personnel.
It took 25 firefighters 45 minutes to get the fire under control.
Louisville Metro arson investigators are working to determine the case.
