NEW ALBANY, Ind. (WDRB) -- The Floyd County Sheriff's Office in southern Indiana is undergoing renovations.
The department said in a Facebook post Friday that the work is already underway.
For 30 years, the sheriff's office shared the building in downtown New Albany with the New Albany Police Department.
Last month, New Albany police moved into their own headquarters, built right across the street from the sheriff's office building.
The sheriff's office now has new signs on the building and in the parking lot. Officials said they will post updates on social media as construction progresses.
An open house will be held once the work is complete.
