LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Jefferson County Public Schools are closed again Tuesday in the aftermath of another round of wintry weather.
The district posted the announcement on its web site and Twitter about 4:30 am, saying "Due to hazardous road conditions, all Jefferson County Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, March 4, 2014."
It's the second straight day the district has closed, after a snow and ice storm hit the area Sunday night and Monday morning.
Tuesday's closing is the 11th for JCPS this school year, and pushes the last day to June 12th.
Several other districts across the area are delayed or closed. You can find a complete listing here.
