LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Police are investigating human remains found at a dig site in Bloomington, Indiana.
According to FOX59, Bloomington Police were called Wednesday afternoon to the dig site at West Acuff Road for reports of suspected human remains in a wooded area.
A land clearing crew was in the area when the remains were found. When officers arrived, it was determined the bones appeared to be human.
They haven't been identified.
The remains are being assessed by a forensic anthropology team out of Indianapolis as the investigation continues.
