LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Big names in Indiana in the worlds of government and sports have big plans for Indianapolis.  Governor Mike Pence, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard, and Colts owner Jim Irsay announced a bid Friday morning, aiming to host the Super Bowl again in 2018.

Indy won praise for its hosting of last year's Super Bowl.

But the city will face new competition -- Denver and Minneapolis leaders have also announced bids to host the 2018 game.
