LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --A Jackson County Sheriff's deputy is taken to the hospital after serious injuries from a single car crash last night.
Officials say Deputy Mark Holt of Seymour was driving westbound on state road 258 in response to a call about shots fired.
That's when police say his car went airborne and the rolled over several times when it landed.
Officials say Deputy Holt was wearing a seatbelt.
He was airlifted to University Hospital with fractures to his ankle and feet, and multiple cuts and bruises.
The crash remains under investigation.
