LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Kentucky Humane Society has taken in 30 cats out of 176 that were rescued from a large-scale neglect situation in MississippiĀ
The cats were found at three different homes by police at the end of January.Ā Rescuers said the cats were found in filthy, fly- and flea-invested conditions.
Ten cats were also found dead.
The 30 cats in Louisville will be cared for in Louisville before they will be available for adoption.
