LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky has a new online tool that lets residents see how opioid settlement money is being spent in their communities.
The Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission has launched a public dashboard that allows residents to track how opioid settlement dollars are being used across the state. The website includes a county-by-county breakdown, along with statewide spending data.
The dashboard is designed to give the public a better understanding of where the money is going and how it's supporting efforts to prevent addiction, expand treatment and strengthen recovery programs.
Since 2023, the commission has awarded more than $86 million to projects aimed at combating the opioid crisis throughout Kentucky.
Residents can access the dashboard through the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission's website.
