LMPD asks for public's help to find 23-year-old Fern Creek man missing since early January

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Louisville Metro Police Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing 23-year-old man who hasn't been seen since last week.

Maurice Reed's family told police he has health issues and may be in danger. Reed was last seen on Jan. 3 in the 8300 block of Huntsman Trail, which is near Beulah Church Road in the Fern Creek and Highview area.

Police said he frequents Fern Creek Park, but may have been walking on I-265 toward Smyrna.

Reed, a Black man, is 5'6" with brown hair and eyes, and weighs approximately 110 pounds, according to an Operation Return Home alert from LMPD. Police said Reed "may be in crisis."
