LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — As thousands across Kentucky and southern Indiana prepare for Give for Good Louisville, one local arts group said the single-day fundraiser plays a major role in keeping its mission alive.
The Louisville Chorus talked about the impact of the annual giving event and how community donations help sustain its work year-round.
The group said Give for Good helps cover about one-third of its annual operating budget.
Give for Good Louisville is a one-day online fundraising event that brings together hundreds of nonprofits across the region, encouraging community members to donate on the same day to maximize impact.
For the Louisville Chorus, organizers said that wave of support often makes the difference between simply planning a season and being able to fully produce it.
This year’s Give for Good Louisville is set for Sept. 10.
