LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- You never know who's going to show up at Churchill Downs on Derby week!
Spotted on the backside Wednesday were none other than UofL basketball coaches Pat Kelsey and Jeff Walz.
Kelsey experienced the backside for the first time. He told WDRB Mornings that he could really feel the energy from the horses and he was proud to be a part of it.
Energy is something basketball fans have said over and over that they feel from Kelsey.
Kelsey said he's currently looking for a house in Louisville and is ready to have his family here with him.
Women's coach Jeff Walz told WDRB Mornings that his team for next year will be young, but he is expecting great things from them.
