LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville man will spend up to 22 years in prison for murder and robbery.
Isaiah Brown was found guilty by a Jefferson County jury on Friday.
Prosecutors said Brown shot Damani Dulaney in the back during a robbery at Riverside Gardens Park in 2019.
The victim was on a date with Fatima Alabuasalim the night of the shooting. Prosecutors said Alabuasalim texted Brown and Rayshawn Tucker to come and rob Dulaney.
After the shooting, the three went to Frankfort before eventually going to Pensecola, Florida.
Alabuasalim and Tucker previously pleaded guilty to a robbery charge.
A judge will ultimately decide how long Brown will spend behind bars, but a sentencing hearing has not yet been scheduled.
