LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville mental health center is working to increase access to care.
Seven Counties Services said it plans to purchase a new property on Gardiner Point Drive in Louisville.
The organization will keep its presence in downtown Louisville. The new property features a 142,754 square-foot facility with parking. Leaders said it is situated near major highways, which will ensure ease of access.
"This is more than a building — it's a bold step forward in our journey to transform lives," Dave Pankotai, Seven Counties Services CEO, said in a news release. "We are thrilled about the opportunity to expand our footprint in a way that allows us to consolidate resources, improve efficiency, and most importantly, continue providing hope and compassionate, high-quality care to our community."
The purchase will allow Seven Counties to be financially stable in the long-term. The organization said it will also allow for more investment in staff, programs and services.
Seven Counties Services is a mental health care center that specializes in mental and behavioral health, substance use treatment, intellectual and developmental disabilities services across seven Kentucky counties, including Jefferson, Oldham, Bullitt, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble and Henry.
