LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Fall is getting closer, and that means the return of the St. James Court Art Show in Old Louisville.
This will be the 69th year for the beloved art show. Organizers held a kick-off event Tuesday and honored the Bird family for their contributions to the event.
The St. James Court Art Show is one of the nation's premier fine art shows, attracting artists and visitors from across the world.
"This is a jewel for Louisville, for this neighborhood — Old Louisville," said Cindee Rapp, president of the St. James Court Association. "We get people from all over the world walking down our street just in awe of our homes and the court and our neighborhood in general."
The art show runs from Friday, Oct. 3 through Sunday, Oct. 5. Admission is free, and the festival goes on rain or shine.
