LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Louisville Orchestra is kicking off its 2026-27 season with a free concert at Iroquois Amphitheater.
The annual Music Without Borders concert is set for Saturday, Sept. 12, at 8:30 p.m. The performance will feature Grammy-nominated percussionist and vocalist Pedrito Martinez and the Pedrito Martinez Group alongside the Louisville Orchestra.
Led by conductor Ahmed Alom, the concert will celebrate the musical traditions of Cuba. The multicultural program combines Cuban rumba with jazz, timba and other contemporary influences.
Admission is free and open to everyone, but registration is recommended and available now on the Louisville Orchestra website.
