It happened just after 2 a.m., according to a news release from Louisville Metro Police. That's when 4th division officers responded to the 1400 block of Arcade Ave on a report of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found the victim -- a 29-year-old-man -- who had been shot in the leg. He was taken to UofL Hospital by ambulance, and is expected to survive his injuries, according to the release.
