LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Artists converge on Old Louisville this coming weekend, but not all of them will be along St. James Court.Â
The Louisville UnFair is an alternative art festival hosted at Magnolia Bar at 1398 South 2nd Street from Oct. 6-8.
Started in 1997, Louisville UnFair was initially created as a rebel art show for locals to support artists that felt marginalized by the more commercial St. James Court Art Fair.Â
"While not as large as other traditional 'white-tent' arts and crafts fairs, the eclectic mix of local art, loud music, and free expression provide an unmatched level of pure authenticity," Louisville UnFair said on its website.Â
The UnFair promotes self-expression, inclusion and unconventional platforms for local artists to showcase their talents.
