LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Some special kids got to trick-or-treat at the Louisville Zoo Wednesday night.
About 2,000 children and their families packed the zoo for the 21st annual Kosair Kids night. The event gives kids, many with mobility challenges, a safe place to trick-or-treat.
Kids got to dress up in their favorite costume, collect candy and see the animals all in one night.
Parents said their kids often miss out on experiences other kids have, which is why the event is so special.
