LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- It was a special day at the Louisville Zoo because for once the animals weren't the stars.
Louisville City FC, Racing Louisville FC and members of the Louisville Ballet were in attendance to talk to zoo visitors.
They are featured in this month's issue of the Voice Tribune with many of the animals.
Sunday celebrated the combination of sports, performing arts and nature. Fans could get photos signed and talked to the players and dancers.
"We are super excited to meet the soccer players and get their autographs, we registered through the voice with the Tribune and they were able to give us the magazines and the markers to get out autographs from the soccer players so we are super excited to meet the professionals," the Bratcher family said.
The event was free with zoo admission.
