LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - The man who received the first ever human trafficking conviction in Jefferson County will learn Monday how long he'll spend behind bars.
Justin Ritter pled guilty to human trafficking, unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
He and Rebecca Goodwin were arrested in 2011 after police say a 17-year-old girl agreed to have sex with what turned out to be an undercover officer for $75.
Goodwin previously entered a plea to criminal facilitation to commit human trafficking and unlawful transaction with a minor.
The recommended sentence for Ritter is 10 years.
Ritter is not eligible for probation and is required to serve 85 percent of his sentence before being eligible for parole.
He will also be placed on the sex offenderregistryy.
