LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville Metro Police said a man was found dead in an alley near the north end of the Algonquin neighborhood early Sunday morning.
Aaron Ellis, a spokesperson for LMPD, said police responded to the alley around 4 a.m. at the 1700 block of West Hill Street.Â
The man's cause of death hasn't been released and is expected to be determined during an autopsy. Police believe foul play is suspected.
Ellis said later Sunday that LMPD's SWAT served a warrant at a home near the scene and found a man outside that had been shot in the leg.
He was taken to UofL Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Homicide detectives are working to determine if the two men had any relationship.
