LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville will soon be home to an Indian sandwich shop.
New Freezeland is planning to open its first Louisville store on Hurstbourne Parkway in the TaylorHurst Shopping Center next to Sleep Outfitters, according to our partners at Louisville Business First.
The store's official opening date is unknown, but it will likely be in early December.
The location is currently undergoing renovations, which are expected to cost $125,000.
Founded in 1983 in India, New Freezeland offers an assortment of foods, including grilled sandwiches, clubs and wraps, fries, nachos, burgers, muska bun, chaat and bhakhri pizza, as well as pasta dishes, garlic breads, Indo Chinese dishes, Bombay tawa, Indian coffee, mojitos and milkshakes, according to its website.
New Freezeland has locations in India, Canada, and the U.S., with its first U.S. store in Schaumburg, Illinois.
