LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man is dead after a shooting in Louisville's Algonquin neighborhood.

Louisville police said the shooting happened around 11 p.m. in the 900 block of Algonquin Parkway.

Police arrived on scene to find a man with who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified him as 37-year-old Desmond Mitchell.

Police said "all parties have been accounted for and are being questioned" in the shooting.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is leading the investigation.
