LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) - Two men charged with strangling, beating, raping and murdering a 61-year-old grandmother went before a judge for the first time today.
Bond was set at $250,000 for 36-year-old Guy Marcus Allen and 56-year-old Eugene Mitchell. A judge entered a not guilty plea on their behalf.
Police say on November 12th, 61-year-old Sheila Devine was found unconscious in her apartment off Fegenbush Lane.
She died November 29th.
Police are releasing few details about the case, but claim Devine knew the suspects.
Both Mitchell and Allen will be back in court later this month. Authorities are asking anyone with information on this case to call them at 574- LMPD.
