LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Two vacant homes caught fire in the Russell neighborhood Tuesday evening, according to Louisville Fire.
Fire crews were dispatched to a vacant house fire in the 600 block of South 22nd Street at 7:18 p.m. Firefighters were on scene within three minutes and found a two-story home with a heavy fire on the second floor.
It took 25 firefighters 13 minutes to bring the fire under control, according to Louisville Fire.
Another fire happened on the same street around 8 p.m. It was another two-story home that was occupied, but firefighters didn't find anyone inside the home. It took around eight minutes to get that fire under control.
No one was injured in the fires.Â
