LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) is offering up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest after explosives were stolen from a Louisville construction site.
The federal agency's Louisville Field Division said the robbery of an explosives storage facility happened early Wednesday, April 1, at a construction site in the 9400 block of Old Bardstown Road.
Officials said workers discovered they had been robbed and reported the explosives as missing in "a theft of explosives from an explosive magazine."
ATF said the explosives are well-labeled, and should not be moved if they are found. The agency is offering an up to $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of those responsible.Â
