LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) --Â Someone drove their SUV into an animal hospital near Taylorsville Road Friday morning.
This is the second time a car has slammed into Hopewell Animal Hospital. This time it was an elderly couple into an exam room.
The SUV turned into the parking lot before hitting the building.
Louisville Metro Police said the crash happened at 9:45 a.m. on Hopewell Road. No one was hurt.
"They said the building shook. Everything shook," Jenni Moravec, Hopewell Animal Hospital's office manager, said.
"We did have one client in here who's actually sitting (in here). When the car came through the building, she was less than two feet from being hit. Fortunately, the car did stop. No one was harmed, which is, of course, our top priority and what we are most grateful for, because it could have turned out so much worse than it did," Moravec said.
The crash broke glass and knocked down brick. Moravec said all animals were uninjured.Â
LMPD said the cause is still under investigation.
A car crashed into the building.
The hospital already had plans to relocate before this crash.
Their new location will be at 12404 Taylorsville Road, just down the road. It is scheduled to open on January 21.
