LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — The City of Louisville wants to hear from you when it comes to feedback and design concepts on how to improve safety and accessibility throughout downtown.

Consultants have been gathering public feedback, and Tuesday evening, May 13, the initial renderings will be revealed. The goal is to create low-cost projects that will make streets downtown and in NuLu safer and more functional and provide better walkability.

"Folks can come out and see some of the suggestions on projects we are looking at in downtown and some of the areas right around there, and then get some feedback to make sure we are on track and then from there they'll vet that a little bit more and then finalize the plan," Michael King, Louisville Metro Office of Planning Director, said.

The public meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. in the auditorium at the Louisville Free Public Main Library with the presentation at 6 p.m.
