LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The Shelby County Coroner's Office said the 24-year-old woman found dead Friday in the middle of Interstate 64 "exited the vehicle while it was traveling down the road."
Brianna Perry, of Lexington, was identified as the woman found dead in the roadway of I-64 at the 26.4 mile marker in the eastbound lanes.
"This is an ongoing investigation by both agencies to determine the reason Ms. Perry exited the vehicle," the coroner's office said in a news release Monday. "The cause and manner of death is still pending while the investigation ongoing."
