LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Oldham County is celebrating its revamped fire station.
The North Oldham Fire District's remodeled Fire Station 2 opened on Highway 42 in Goshen, Kentucky, Friday.
Construction started in March 2024.
The roughly $3 million project replaces the previous station, which was a pole barn built in the 1980s that the department added bunk rooms to. While it was only supposed to last 15 years, it was in use for about 40.
The new station is located on the same land, behind the old one.
