LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A man was killed and another injured in a double shooting near Fern Creek in Louisville Friday afternoon.
John Bradley, a spokesperson for Louisville Metro Police, said officers were called to a reported shooting in the 6000 block of Bristol Bluffs Circle at 2:50 p.m. That's off of Billtown Road and Gellhaus Lane, not far from Farmer Elementary School and Ramsey Middle School.
Once on scene, police found two men who had been shot. One was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he later died, Bradley said. The other was also taken to UofL Hospital, and is expected to survive his injuries.
LMPD's Homicide Unit is handling the investigation. Bradley said "all parties to this event have been accounted for." It's unclear at this time whether any arrests have been made.
