LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Drivers can expect overnight ramp and lane closures on Interstate 65 and the Watterson Expressway.
Contract crews are continuing preparations for temporary ramp widening ahead of the I-65 closure this summer. There won’t be closures from April 24–May 3 due to Kentucky Derby events.
Overnight closures:
- Monday, April 20 and Tuesday, April 21 | 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Ramp from northbound I-65 to eastbound I-264 closed
- Preston Highway to eastbound I-264 on-ramp (near Durrett Lane) closed
- Wednesday, April 22 and Thursday, April 23 | 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
- Southbound I-65 lane closure between westbound I-264 (Exit 131B at milepoint 131.2) and the on-ramp to eastbound I-264 (milepoint 130.3)
- Eastbound I-264 lane closure at ramp to southbound I-65
- Westbound I-264 lane shift near ramp to southbound I-65
